"Enjoy Yourself" by Stephanie
Description:
I cut out the flower and pasted a flower softies over so it has the pop out effect.
Feli says:
Sweet colours on her page. I love how she layered the love, elsie PPs... and nice technique there to bring focus on the flower cut-out...
"Nurul Izza by Wati K"
I'm complementing the title with pinks and cut-out flowers.
Feli says:
I love how she arranged the various flower cut-outs on her page together with the journaling. This is lovely!
There are about 9pps and cut out words and doodled cloud with a smiley face.=)

Entry for Graphic Inspired Challenge 1
"Image produced by Sokkuan"
Here's the entry that I received for this challenge...
"Smile like me, Hold my hand & Walk with me" by Hariyani
Description:
I was inspired by the different pictures on the circles. Especially the middle column which shows a picture of the head, shoulder and leg. I scrapped my niece's photo for this LO coz all her photos seem proportion. I manually cut the circles using a bottle cap to trace n then cut.. I popped up the photos.. punched a few holes at the side coz i thought it was a little plain and inserted ribbon.. and ta-daa! :)
journalling reads: Smile like me, Hold my hand & Walk with me
Feli says:
What a sweet page by Hariyani! i love especially what she did to the photos... I can see a clear interpretation from the graphic which inspired her to do the layout in such a way! i also love how she matted the photos with black cardstock. I also noticed the combination of thickers used and how she made use of other alphas when she run out of the ones she need, so great use of thickers!
Sadly, for this challenge, there is only 1 entry that was submitted. Which also means, Hariyani automatically is the winner! So, congrats Hariyani! Yay! Here's what you'll be getting...
Congrats again and thank you for your support Hariyani.. :) I'll contact you about the posting of the RAK to you...

I love this Sassafras PP! it's so easy to use, and the trees are so cute! i think it goes very well with the photo i scrapped... i added chipboard animals on the tree...:P The 'Nature Walk Want S'more?' is from the strip at the bottom of the PP...
For the photo, i cut the photo into circles.. I specially chose a photo with many different colours, showing different colours on each circle... I also added '2008' to the squirrel's tail.. hehe! I love how this page turned out...

Challenge 3: Graphic Inspired Challenge
Here's a description about Sokkuan...
"Base in Singapore after her graduation from The One Academy of Communication Art in Kuala Lumpur, Sokkuan is currently a commercial illustrator with versatile illustration styles. Her work has been used by clients like Nokia, Motorola, Heineken, Coca-cola, Pepsi, Nike etc. On another hand, she has Sophie Black as her personal project. She loves simplicity with necessary details and adores people and things that are in harmonious contradictions, the same way she appreciates black and white.. "
Here's the image to inspire you... One of Sokkuan's earlier work of Sophie Black. Each button extracts portions from one illustration which shows most of her favourite items hanging on the tree.

Entries for Stash Inspired Challenge 1
"Her Smile" by Stephanie
Description:
Since the ribbons is the main use of this challenge, and i do not own much, instead i used laces & flowers to enhance the photo.
Feli says:
I love how she used the lace to frame up the photo! it just brings focus to Aloysia's smile...
"up on dad's shoulders" by June
I loved how the ribbons gave the layout extra texture. I wanted to add something to represet the sun and somehow the red ginham ribbon caught my eye so I added a chipboard button to complete my sun.Feli says:
Love how June used bright colours and ribbons to brighten up her page... And i like the flower she made out of ribbons, it adds a nice touch to the page...
"feeling great @ 38" by Edleen
Description:
I used ribbons to "decorate" my layout of me feeling great @ 38! photo taken with my Sony Ericcson! Couldn't find the right cut outs, so i doodled my own and also sprayed glimmer mist on flocked chipboard numbers.
Feli says:
Love how Edleen created a cheerful page by using the different coloured ribbons. Great photo and that doodling of the cut-out is just awesome! It looked like it came from a PP! :)
First and foremost, I've just produced a She-Lamp :) I altered a white ikea lamp. What inspired me was 'sugar n spice n everything nice' and a little bit victorian. and thus the name 'Victoria B'.
Victoria = victorian & B = Babe :)
And it cant be helped that i love PINK.. Therefore the 'pink ribbons infested lamp'!
I used the ribbons as tassle at the bottom and I added bling bling to add a little weight to it. And 3 different types of ribbon to tie the ribbons :D And of course prima flowers to top it off! And not forgetting the green ribbon to act as he 'leaves'.
Feli says:
Love how she altered a lamp! what a cool idea! now she has her very own lamp! and a sweet PINK lamp.. :) i especially love how she let the ribbons at the bottom drape, it adds a nice touch to the lamp...
Thanks ladies for your submissions! hope to see you try out the next challenge! Now it's time for these ladies to rank the layouts and project... Winner will be announced tmr! Stay tuned!

Challenge 2: Stash Inspired
I love how i'm using up my ribbons for this challenge! I tried to give different textures by overlapping the ribbons and using them to hold the photo in place... I also tied the ribbons the ribbons together and create flowers with them..
Did this for Artz de Scrap's October challenge and for my challenge by altering this glass bottle... it turned out to look like a monster.. :p but i love the various textures created using fibers...
Did some weaving and tying of the various fibers together... No adhesives was used in this project...
Hope you like how i'm using my ribbons! And inspire you to try out this challenge! :)

Entries for the Word Inspired Challenge 1
I'm always a sucker for words, so when I saw the collage of words, I immediately took in those that appealed to me. As a scrapbooker, I've always found it challenging and sometimes frustrating in trying to retain my style and creative rights. It's a constant battle for every artist, I think. It's a challenge, not only to be retain my rights but also to 'live with' the fact that people sometimes choose to appreciate art by copying them. Words are powerful, they don't only state facts, but they express your emotions too.
Feli says:
I like how the journaling is being brought as a focus because she kept the embellishing and layering to a minimum. The words in the image is used in her journaling, love how she put the words together and how the word challenge is emphasized and arranged to fold the shaped PP. I totally agree with what she wrote, sometimes it really is a challenge to come up with something new and something that's you when you scrap...
The photos were taken on 1st Jan of 2007- one find day. Family having a good day outing. Hope that we will always be a happy family and have joy together. For the layout, instead of putting all 'words' to decorate my LO, I prefer using some ribbons , lace and other element to make it look nicer.
Feli says:
I like how she emphasized on the centre portion of the page to bring focus to the photos and adding stickers & tags as journaling that look like the word image...
I am obviously captured by the word "inspired" and I knew the exact photo to scrap. Well this is my first attempt to scrap a boy layout and certainly I don't have any idea how to start. I am so sorry i failed to do it differently as I was working all night till dawn and my brain was too tired to think creatively though I would like to. I'm also inspired by the placement and i tried to make it as simple as it could be coz Boo likes it to be simple. hehe. I want to give this to him as a special gift from me and show how he has inspired me so far..
Feli says:
I love how she took the word Inspired to create this layout. Love the many details on her layout! love the cut-outs and her sweet journaling. And great effort to keep it simple to highlight the photo and journaling. I'm sure Boo will love the page!
Now it's time for Erlia, CS and Renoa to vote, winner will be out tmr! :)
